I was there from 1030 to 12. no jumpers or anything surfaced. I also snagged/lost 2 BB cause the current was so fast it pushed my lure down current and wrapped it around one of those wood post sticking out of the water. crappy!

Bummer. I was at #5 last weekend at low tide and noticed a few of those posts are starting to look like Christmas trees with plenty of pink ornaments. Add 2 more!

#5 was not alive tonight. 2 fish landed between 20 anglers. Both by me :) and I wasn't using a pink colour neither.

Flogged for three hours from 3 to 6pm from my boat in the Derby area.  Just two for us.

TONS showing, few biting.  Tough slogging.

Slayed it tonight on 5Rd.  Caught 3 logs and a set of tires floating upstream.   :P  The run is over.  Fish are few and far between.

Hah that was funny! ;)  ...but im not so sure that the run is over yet.  Think about it they had commercial openings in the Straight the other day which means fish are still on their way up the fraser.  and by the amounts the FN were netting today seems like theres plenty of fish there.  Im saying that even though I have yet to land a single fish this season, its been a tough one for me.  I finally hooked one on today on a Buzz bomb and the freaking waves came crashing on the rocks and the fish decided to make a nice jump and broke off with my lure.   I sure hope the run isnt over because I would love to get out on the river in richmond few more times.

Another FN extension until Monday.  There's definitely fish out there, but with all the netting the FN are doing, we are left with scraps if any.

Further to FN0902, the commercial economic opportunity fishery authorized for
the Musqueam First Nation for pink salmon using Shallow Seine gear in the lower
Fraser River will be extended from 12:00 hours, Thursday, September 19, 2013 to
22:00 hours, Monday, September 23, 2013, with the possibility of a further
extension.
