Sandman, the steelhead was measured 31cm, next time when I release a under size one, I will let you know so that you can catch it later.

BTW, Steelhead and Rainbow are two different species of the trout family. Correct?? 

Both are the same species Oncorhynchus mykiss

Not sure how people thought that looked like a hatchery Chinook lol...

For someone who has a signature that says "always a student" that was pretty condescending.

The tail is covered in spots top to bottom - for many people, that means it's a pink or chinook, because they've never caught a steelhead.

Might want to remember what it was like to be a newer angler before you climb up to your ivory tower next time.

I think that's your clue its over in the lower , been out from 5rd to 3rd for weeks had a great time freezer full , last few days bahh , home drinking tonight and smoking , pinks that is

I am looking at it right now.. nothing out there. Has been nothing all day. I don't think I will even bother taking my fishing rod out of the trunk to try and I am here already!

I might go wading for lures though.. there is one old piling a few feet out in low tide that I have seen at least a dozen people lose lures on. I could get my supply up for 2 years from now...

PS. I have seen a lot of people mention that some later runs happen on the north side of Richmond. Is that worth checking out?
