Chilliwack River, September 11th 2013
« on: September 12, 2013, 09:33:21 AM »

Had an incredible day yesterday fishing near the mouth of the Vedder River.

Was into 30+ pinks on the fly rod in the 32C heat.

A combination of position, fly and depth put me into a continuous series of fish for several hours.

There were 2 of us in the boat and 3 friends in a boat beside us.
There were a handful of triple-headers and numerous double-headers in the other boat too.
Most of the time, at least one person had a fish on during the prime time.

However, I have been spoiled by lower Tidal fish and none of the fish were suitable to be kept.

Not a sniff of any other type of salmon but we were targeting pinks specifically.
