fishing gentleman
« on: September 26, 2013, 08:08:44 AM »

I was at Duncan Bar last week and met a nice older gentleman who walks with a wading staff.

He was kind enough to give me a fly. While I study the fly in earnest I forgot to ask him what hook he was using. It was a stainless steel hook for salt water.

If you are on this forum please contact me. I very much like to know you.

Thank you.

It can be said that Tom knows a thing or two about chironomid fishing.  ;)
If you haven't taken one of his classes, you should.

And now let's try to find him help the gentleman Tom is looking for.

Hook? Is that the pointy thing that you tie at the end of the string?
