If these guys wanted to risk their life, go ahead! But they also put other rescuers with a happy family in risk. SHAME. >:( >:( >:(

The thing with that river too is it is so noisy that even if you shouted for help no one would hear!

What about mental health issues or a suicide attempt? Regardless, I am glad the professional rescuers were on hand.

I saw the link and was VERY surprised (pleasantly maybe) to read that it wasn't an angler!

Cheers to all of us for not doing something dumb enough to need search and rescue.  Hooray!
