Hey guys, a friends father went missing early Monday morning(Oct 7/ 2:55am). His car was found at the Barnston Island ferry parking lot the next morning by the police. They found his jacket down on the dock and they have CCTV of a man walking down to the little dock at 2:55am. The family has very little info at this time. We launched the boat this morning and canvassed the shore and booms that is lined in yellow on the screen shot below. If you could, please keep an eye out along the banks and booms.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and black track pants at the time. So keep an eye out for white please...

Can't imagine the emotional pain the family is going thru.
By your post it sure does not sound good. Imagine he jumped into the river "kinda thing".
Hope not.
In the recent news there are so many that have gone missing
Chinese older guy in Coquitlam that went for a walk & did not return.
Burnaby Chinese older guy that went missing in the backwoods of SE BC region.
Guy that went out in a canoe to check his crab traps ( Crescent beach area )
Two guys went hiking up some MT. on Vancouver Is. Who did not return.
Maybe there are updates on the above stories as haven't watched the tv news day by day lately.

Im pretty sure he was found today in Richmond by Fraser Wharves.
