Canner and cooker , any difference ?

Just off to the canadian tire right now to buy me a pressure cooker or canner . Is there any difference ? Any recommendations   . Excited got me 2 coho ready to go 😀

If you are canning , you should buy a canner. The canner has a temperature gauge and you have to can your fish at the appropriate temperature or you might cause bacteria to grow which could lead to botulism if the fish is eaten, and this can be fatal.Any one else who  knows more should provide more information here. Be careful do not eat contaminated food and get sick.

Mine is a pressure cooker/canner with Geared steam gauge, automatic overpressure release valve ; settings of 5 psi, 10 psi, and 15 psi.
