Fishery Officers pulling a gillnet
« on: October 28, 2013, 07:11:59 PM »

Observed FOs pulling a gillnet that was set in the Alouette River of all places. Someone must have called it in. Remember to call if you see any funny stuff.

It was down stream of Harris rd, but upstream of the float homes.  It looked like it had a good number of fish in it too, but I couldnt tell what types.

Ya I hope they catch or have caught whoever set the net.

Belly slitting for roe, poaching, ripping fish off their redds, rocks tossed on spawning fish, wild steelhead bonked, caught a guy thrill killing chum.

The usual suspects really sad sight to see
