« on: November 02, 2013, 11:43:51 AM »

Thanks, Dave

You can choose from many locations and I like the graph.

try this http://www.waterlevels.gc.ca/eng/station?sid=7590

Yup, probably the best site to check, but unfortunately they don't have an app for that.

I use the dairiki site (I too like the graph feature), and their times are within a few minutes of this one.  It is strange for any ap be out by an hour and a half.  Where were you fishing and which tide station were you using?  If you were fishing up the Fraser (say around the Stave) and using the New Westminster station times then they would be an hour and a half off (they are 3 hours off by the time you reach the Chilliwack).

Good thread here. Question: for fishing the Vedder Canal, is it 4 hours you add to the New West tide? And it's the high tide right? Usually I just go fishing when I can go fishing, but I'd like to start planning some outings around the tides, especially if I'm fishing the canal as I've heard you can really up you odds, especially for steelhead, by hitting the canal at the right time going by the tide charts.

Any tips on this would be great :D

. I think it is closer to 3.  It is 3.5 to 4 later than Pt. Atk tides which are almost an hour ahead of New West.
