The Passing of a Legend (Peter Morrison )
« on: November 06, 2013, 09:04:49 PM »

I am VERY sad to say that Peter Morrison has passed away.

I know many people here and on other site owe much of what they know about flyfishing to him. Peter was a GREAT man that was generous to a fault. He was the rep for Sage/Reddington/RIO/Islander/Dr Slick/Renzetti/Bradly Smokers plus a few more.

Peter will be Missed greatly.

Tight lines my Friend, hope that you will always be fishing wherever you may be.

RIP Peter Morrison

Couldn't have said it any better.

I'm glad to have known such a remarkable man and without a doubt, will be missed greatly.

Peter and I have been very close friends for over 30 years...

I am still in shock with the news.....

You will never meet a more sincere person than Peter Morrison.

I will miss him everyday I am on the water or in the bush....

RIP my friend.

Our paths crossed only once, at a Tradex show a few years ago. I asked him a question about the difference between two (to me) very similar Sage rods. He enthusiastically proceeded to explain the difference in rod "speed" and how it matches individual casting styles. He showed genuine interest in helping me understand.

May he rest in peace.

It is written: only the good die young.. I did not know Peter, only at arm's length when he visited Oscar's in his 'rep' capacity. Those of you who knew him best can only verify what I learned: a good dude.  KD.

This is a real shock, I spent 2 weeks with Peter last fall & what a great guy.
I knew him through leader sales & then became friends.
The stories & peters passion for the outdoors will always be remembered.
RIP Peter Morrison.
