Have anyone try one of these Baffalo golds gloves?

Wonder how are they when wet? They claimed its warmer than wool.

Who carries them in lower mainland or on the island? Or even in Canada?

Pretty happy with my new Simms mitte but looking for a bit more warm when wet.
Has anyone try the wool gloves by Simms?

$65 for fingerless gloves! Pretty expensive.

I have the Simms windstopper or whatever they are with the fold back mitt and thumb. Good gloves but suck in heavy rain. Also not so great IMO when the temperature dips below freezing.

I also have 100% waterproof neoprene gloves from Glacier Glove. You can get the ones where the index finger and thumb have a slit in them so you can poke your finger/thumb out, tie knots etc without removing the glove. I got the ones withOUT the slits as I wanted them to be 100% watertight. They are great for flycasting as each index finger has a smooth patch so when you strip line in it doesn't catch on the material. However they suck for using a level wind as the thumb dosen't have the same frictonless patch for thumbing the spool. I imagine they would not work with a center pin as well. I was using mne with my spey rod the other day and they worked awesome.

The Kast gloves come on/off very easily like a regular glove. My neoprene gloves are great once on, but if you need to take them on and off repeatedly they're a pain especially if your hands get damp they are hard to pull on.
