Ok guys i need your help im stuck between a 4120 and a 4100 whaht would u guys pic i will generally be fishing bigger rivers aswell as the chehalis verdder and so on what do u guys think im open to other options aswell

If you are talking Sage 4120 and 4100, both are good for the Thompson ,but a bit too heavy for the Vedder and Chehallis.

3113 mb is good enough for large white springs,

I use a rod rated 10-20 for both the Thompson, Vedder and Chehalis and never had any type of problem. For the Thompson, most of te fish are jacks and if you can apply side pressure and turn them around and stop the bigger ones from getting into the rapids you won't have a problem either.

how long of a rod are u fishing? maybey ill try my 3113 for vedder springs and such i was fishing an old lamiglass before

10.5 feet but my dad has an 11 foot G-Loomis rated 15-30 I think but prefers a 10.5 rod.

i tried fishing a 10ft convergence for coho and i just found it to short i ended up going back to my 13ft fenwick witch i really really like

My 3113mb handles Thompson springs no problem. There will always be the odd fish that finds its way into the heavy water that ends up breaking you off but I honestly don't believe a heavier rod would help in that case. Some days you just have to throw your hands up in the air and accept that these are exceptionally powerful fish on an exceptionally powerful river.
