This is whar we have to lose if the filth flows from Alberta. Sorry the picture quality sucks, but I grabbed the wrong camera.

A curious critter. He scooted along the side of the mountain like it was a sidewalk.

The year round garden at Liard hot springs.

Flying in the mountain tops. Look at the geography here and think about Enbridges record elsewhere.

This is disaster waiting to happen and it will, leading to an utter and complete ecological Armageddon. Look at the fraudulent pictures Enbridge put out about the ocean route from Kitamat to the open sea. Is this the kind of business we need in BC?

I don't think the pipeline will be built as while at the rally in Vancouver some pretty strong people ready to go and halt it.

And the recent Supreme court ruling in F/N favour this week will also make it harder for it to proceed.

Why do we not refine more than we do now and not have to rely on refined oil from the States and the unrest in the Middle East what they say drives the price of gas, paying $1.40 here in Chilliwack that translate to over $6 per gallon. It started at 36.9 when the metric system came in.
What am I missing here or are we being brain washed by the fed's and the pipeline guys with all their rosy commercials.?

The oil should be refined  at the oil sands not shipped around the world . All products should in  stay in North America.

I feel the same way, refine it here and reduces our costs.

Just for fun, go to wickapedia and look at the largest oil producers in order in the world along with export percentages. I'll bet you didn't know this. Our west coast holds some of the largest reserves left on the planet. See what the west supports with the middle east and how many people die per day while supplies are secured. Just imagine what they'll do to our natural resources when it's time to tap into our own reserves.
