Talked to Freds Tackle.......Peg Leg is still under water. Said it might take 3 to 4 weeks before we can fish from shore. Scale Bar is good but a long hike from where you park. Wish I had a boat  :'(.

Try tossing spoons at some of the creek mouths.  This weekend I'm probably going to  be fishing for reds at the mouth of Jones creek.  Your best bet is using Koho spoons and Kit-A-mat spoons.  It's more exciting fishing for reds this way(using spoons)as oppossed to fishing for them, the other way.

The question is, do you WANT to wear waders in this heat?

Peg Legs is definetly a no go right now! I was out there just about a half hour ago and there won't be access to the other side of the channel for some time yet as the river is still almost up to the bottem end of the road. The current is still pretty fast, makes me wonder if fish come up that channel there and if BF or BB would be any good. Whatever the case it's sure odd yet pleaseant to see that place so quiet when it a month it'll be mayham  :o!
