If there were pike in there atleast 1 would be caught in the past 5 years with the amount of pressure on bass.Bass and pike will attack similar stuff. So i call bs until i get photographic evidence, there are no pike in mill lake.

Oddly enough, I don't care about what you believe. People who know the area can tell where the picture is taken by the skyline reflection in the water. Those that can't tell by the reflection or details in the picture don't need to know.

All I can say is don't dip you bare toes in Mill Lake - never know what might find them interesting.

If that is actually true you should report it ASAP, Snakehead are highly invasive and taken very seriously http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/b-c-s-snakehead-caught-after-burnaby-pond-drained-1.1242793

You think if there was actually pike in there fisheries would a waste there time and money on stocking the lake all the time and I'm not convinced by that pic there is no landscape to prove it's mill sorry

ok this is first time ive heard of pike in mill lake. dont know who transplanted them into the lake as pike are somewhat interior/upper bc fish. i know you have a better pic with the background included so if your not showing us a bogus pic.....ill believe you if i see its mill lake where you handled that pike.

There is a guy that fishes for them by wading at the west end of the lake. He wades in just off the last piling and cast a big blade spinner probably 3-4" long silver blade, 2" long white body with a red stripe and two or three red beads between the body and blade. The hook has long white thin feathers which I think are 4 pieces of white rooster cape.

I've seen him casting with and without what looks to be about a one once twist core sinker about 2-3 feet above the spinner.

He claims this to be his go to lure in there.
