The brass hammered fire stripe Croc has pretty much caught all of my fish in the last two weeks (beside a couple that were caught on a nickel hammered fire stripe Croc, and one fish on a homemade 1/4oz spinner with a green #4 French blade).

The right places have been the slowest water bodies you can find along the river where fish might stay for awhile. The right time has been first thing in the morning, or anytime during the day if it is overcast.

Water is now gin clear, it dropped a lot in the last few days.

A couple of more late season fresh fish came out of it this morning, caught by a friend.

Finding biting fish is not the only challenge now.

I am totally new to all this.   Tried going to the Vedder in October but it was all rained out, then I had to go out of town.  Is there any point in trying again up there?  I will go tomorrow if there is.

Obviously if you are Rod's friend it is worth trying and succeeding. What kind of answer are you expecting after seeing pics of two fresh HOs, pics tells it all.

I think it's worth it, but you'll need to look for fish.

It's always worth going out, there'll always be something to gain. If no fish are caught, at least walk some new runs and keep a mental note on what they are like. This makes future trips easier.

Did not see much action today. People are fishing stale salmon in small pulls  :(

This little guy didn't make it back in time when the water receded too fast this morning.

Bonked a hatchery coho and released a hatchery jack coho today. Lost another coloured coho too. All on twitching jigs.
