Chilliwack River, November 13th 2014

The wind was blowing, the fingers were numb, the guides were icing up but the season was still not over this morning. I managed to beach this nice hatchery-marked coho salmon around 8lb. Quite a few bites were missed as the frozen hands were too slow on the hook sets.

Rod after you left, hooked and landed a nice wild one around the same size as yours.  Couple other touches and that was it.  Tried down river, but nothing.

Nice. :) They were still biting when we left but the hands just couldn't take the cold anymore.

Glad you are finally replacing those leaky waders after 3 years or longer of wet feet.

Nice clean fish.You certainly have made a case this season for hardware.I use gold hammered crocs up here (Adams Lake) in the warm weather months.Have caught just about everything on them.They can get hard to find at the tackle stores in Kamloops. Although they tend to be a pace changer from my 90 percent fly fishing.
