You might be joking, but the guy sends a point across. He is ridiculing what the Vedder fishery has become. He highlights every single negative thing that we witness every day on the river, but hardly do anything about. Foul-hooking, flossing, snagging, unsafe procedures, retention of less than palatable fish - Vedder at its worst. The more I watch, the more I believe the guy is a sarcastic genius.

He sure got the forum talking, even if it is to make fun of him. But if you look at the bigger picture, I think he is doing the river a service.

Milo as an experienced  hand on the V-C you know it's just been recently corrupted by the long sockeye opening on the Fraser!  It was all sweetness and light for generations before that. How a man's heart can ruined by a simple bouncing betty why who knew? [sarcasm]. As for folks like him that kill boots, excellent! If they stick to their limit they'll be off the river sooner. Ken will feed his prize to his dinner guests and they'll nod politely and say 'nice, doesn't taste fishy at all' but once they leave they'll never make plans to go salmon fishing

I disagree. If he's trying to be sarcastic, the only people that will get it are experienced anglers. Less experienced people are going to see his videos on Youtube and start imitating what he's doing which includes bb'ing and poor fishing handling techniques.
