Check out the Lamiglass 3113 BC Series its a great rod too & half the price, but if your going with the sage I'd Stick with the "M" instead of the "L" unless you stay in slower water most of the time. If you get a big fish in a swift current & want to move him you'll be wishing you had got the "M". I have the Sage in 2106L 4106LL, 3113L, & 3113M, my go to rod I always take out is the 3113M. One thing I've noticed (maybe others have too) is I get a much more solid hookset with "M" over the "L", especially times when I'm just checking to see if that bump was a fish. If I do that with the "L" I always seem to lose them right away. I will say that the "L" series are much more sensitive and you can really feel your presentation more, but I can feel a fish bumping my bait with the "M" and most times get them on before the bobber drowns. One last thing to note is my landing ratio went way up using the 3113M.
