I was out on the 22nd. Mid River on the run all to myself. Fish showing themselves every couple seconds. Springs rolling and scaring the crap out of sockeye of which I saw about 15 schooled up together. My hands were shaking as I was gearing up. After dozens of drifts with chum roe and no takers, finally decided to put my rod down and tie up some fluorocarbon leaders. That was the ticket! Six brought to hand ... one bonked. Two on jigs. The low clear conditions made it easy to spot and target fish. Tight lines all.
