u can pick up an abu garcia cardinal at walmart   not the best but not the worst for arpoudn 60 bucks

I used a Cardinal for Salmon fishing for years (until I upgraded to an Abu C4 this season).   It's a phenomenal reel for the price.

I use a shimano solstace 4000 but I find it a little heavy for pinks and coho. Just picked up a Sedona 2500 which is lighter.

For a not as expensive reel, I like the Penn Fierce - around 50 bucks on Amazon.... smooth, I have two sizes and the one I take hiking/cliff climbing etc on salt has been beat to heck and still smooth as ever!  Extra spools are cheap too, if you want to quick change out different lines.....

Picked up a Penn Fierce from Highwater for 90 bucks last week, so far I'm impressed with the smooth and balanced retrieve and equal line distribution on the spool. Nice upgrade from the well worn daiwa I was using before.
