I ended up getting the 6wt spey, found a great deal on a redington prospector.

Opst heads I have nothing bad to say about them at all I have a 310 grain on my 510 pieroway MD and it fishes fantastically for every thing and I mean EVERYTHING from lead eyes and rabbit fur to shot and indicator rigs it does it all I love it will not got to any other heads for my switch and single hand rods

Any one use a recommended line on the SR that had luck (distance cast) using it to double hand overhead cast

Tried the new Rio outbound short head clear intermediate one weight higher as a single hand but at 265gr is lower than the manufacturers recommendations on the 6wt Beulah Platinum SR

Quite impressed in the one load ability to shoot this line with one false cast better than any single hand I lined her up to
