The Steelhead Society of British Columbia is once again hosting an annual fundraising event for Steelhead habitat and conservation. In 2014, a similar fundraiser was held to raise funds for the Thompson River / Nicola bank stabilization project. Through the most recent fundraiser, the Nicola River Bank Stabilization project was able to be successfully completed, and many changes were made that have led to big a step in the right direction for Thompson River Steelhead. With the upcoming fundraiser, the Steelhead Society of British Columbia would greatly appreciate product for the silent and live auctions, as well as the raffle. The event will be held on November 26th, 2015 at Mickeys Public House in Coquitlam. Contributors will be mentioned in the various advertisements promoting the event as well as at the event.
