Steelhead should be the last species that there should be any sort of derby for.
You should have came to the event today (Which was fantastic btw) and stood in front of everyone and said that.

Did you even read what "the whiny cry baby who needs his milk" even wrote??
The money from this derby goes directly to enhancement on the Chilliwack river for the purpose of improving spawning habitat for these fish you dip$hit.

Kyle, that post just earned you a lot of respect from me; Burbot you need to educate yourself about this particular derby and what it is doing for this river.  As I said in another post, understanding an audience is important and I think you are losing credibility.

Doesn't matter what you say or do, someone out there is bound to have an opinion even though they have no clue what is happening.

Here is the video of yesterday's presentation. It's a bit long, so if you want to skip parts:

Fraser Valley Watersheds Society's presentation by Natashia can be seen starting at 2:10, which talks about how the derby proceeds are invested on past and current projects.

10:42 - Sponsor recognition

14:50 - Awards for top three anglers

Good job Rod as usual ,documenting such a worth while event. The benefits to the system are Huge and the 20 bucks I donate to this event are a drop in the bucket compared to the amount good that's done on the river upgrades bridges, spawning beds etc, etc, etc.
