Two days to go! The salmon society directors are meeting tonight to finalize everything. Tomorrow after we set up, then it's show time.

Included in the prize draw now is a 4 hour guided Fraser River sturgeon fishing trip for two people from Great River Fishing Adventures!

Wow, what an awesome show!  Huge turnout, 1600-1700 in attendance, tons of families who all seemed to enjoy themselves, super info groups and expert fishers/fly tiers/bait curers/casting instructors, etc who shared their skills willingly.  And all free! 

Kudos to Rodney who spearheaded what I'm sure will be an expanding and annual event.  Very well done bud

Glad to hear how successful it was.  I really wish I could have been there with Max.  Our Archery Camp was a huge success too though, and we are back at it tomorrow with a 3D shoot.

Expansion?!?! Does that mean more work?

Attendance was at 2,000 people actually. We gave out just over 1,900 draw tickets plus we had around 60 volunteers.

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered. This is a collective effort to make the event a success.

Thanks to everyone who organized this event and thanks to those who shared their wisdom  , so afterward I headed out after for my second ever try at steelhead on the Vedder , using advice I got at the event I hooked my first one , had it on for about 10 minutes but couldn't land it,  but it was fun while it lasted
