Whistler - Green + Alta Lakes
« on: April 02, 2016, 06:56:10 PM »

Thinking of going there next weekend to warm up and do some catch and release.  Since these are NO keeper lakes, is the action constant?.  Has anyone been there already? any preferred spots on the Lake? (I have a chart for each).  We will be taking an inflatable with us.  Also, is there any free parking anywhere by the shore of either Lake.
Thanks in advance.

That is one updated fishing report lol... ::)

Alta Lake is stocked by GoFishBC, with Taylor 3N cutthroat trout and it also has a natural population of rainbow trout. The lake fishes well from April until early June. May has always been the best month for us whenever we go up there. The north end of the lake produces well. All the floating docks along the shorelines are also good.

All the information on the lake is readily available on the website.
