The sale is looking good, Landon told us at the meeting last night 17 tables booked to date, not too late to book a table. Door open at 8 AM.

When do the early birds start stacking up at the door? 0300Hrs? LOL
I'm really going to try to make it out this year.

Perhaps ;)
Again there were super deals and the people I spoke with seemed very happy with their purchases.  Don Cambell sold all his reels in the first 30 minutes, no surprise there as they are works of art!  I tried to talk him into upping his prices as they will soon be collectors items, but being the fine gentleman he is, said no.
Those who bought them, rest assured you will never regret it!
Not sure if Chris sold any floats but he will probably report back and let us know. Good day for me as I purchased a few neat things and sold stuff I no longer need.
Hope to see this sale again next year and kudos to Landon Gill and the rest of the FVSS for putting it on.

I had a great time and picked up lots of stuff I don't need  :) I noticed a drop in sellers and attendance from previous years. Could part of the reason be holding it on Saturday instead of Sunday?

Thanks for putting it on once again and I too hope it is back next year.

Thanks to all the sellers and those that came to purchase some goodies. From all reports all sellers were happy, as usual the Master sold out. I bought his remaining floats, to cut down on the competition, paid $5 for about 15 and then sold 3 for $9 dollars for a quick profit. ;D ;D

We even caught Dave in a uncomfortable position as Terry set him up nicely.  ;D ;D Pictures are on the Fraser Valley Salmon Society FB page. The PAP gang will certainly want to see Dave. :-X

Forgot to mention we raised $260 for Dave Elderkin to buy more magnets for cleaning up pallet nails along our rivers. Also he got $158 more at his demo table. Thanks to all that contributed. ;D ;D

I was out of town on vacation last weekend so unfortunately missed it. Usually some pretty good deals to be had and run into a bunch of river friends. Anyone score some great gear I missed out on?

Well, you really did miss some good stuff Kyle ;)  I purchased a never used Abu Garcia AMBS- 6500, boxed, papers ... for $50, to be used by my daughter, and a
magnificent painting of a male chum salmon (anyone reading my recent posts know how I feel about chums ;)) by Garne Tobacco.

I sold 6 new or slightly used Fenwick gear rods at about $40 each; great deals, and probably got a few custom rod builds/bamboo restorations coming ...  so was good for me.

There has been some discussion regarding having this sale earlier, say October. That is up to the Fraser Valley Salmon Society, but I would definitely support that.
