Poached Sockeye

Gently poach a chunk of sockeye in water for 20 minutes.
Drain the fish and put on a playter.
Add soy sauce on top to your taste
Add half cup chopped freen onion
Add half a cup chopped cilantro
Heat 3 ounces of oil in a pan until sizzling hit
Pour the oil over the whole concoction.

Voila!

I like this but without the cilantro - just my personal taste. You have to try hard to mess up fresh sockeye.

Thanks for the recipe - it makes for a nice light and simply wonderful dinner.

On another note - any Fraser rod caught sockeye this week are automatically labelled as poached.

We were talking about this very subject tonight. People either really love it or really hate it.

I thought someone said that the ocean sockeye was open???

Sounds delicious! Cilantro is one of thos things you eaither love it or hate it. No middle ground. Personally I love cilantro
