Looking for a source for fresh, uncured chum roe.

Robs baits, Richmond. Haven't bought from him in a long time but he usually had good quality roe. Ad on Craigslist.

Robs in Richmond usually frozen but can catch at right time for fresh. Berrys had frozen vac packed. Yes illigal if caught illegally.

I'm just responding to the suggestion of buying it from the natives. A lot of people don't seem to realize it's illegal to buy Salmon or Salmon roe from the natives unless it was caught under an economic opportunity license.
Same as sport caught fish and roe is illegal to sell or buy.

Maybe wait for a few weeks and you can scoop some fresh stuff before it heads across the pond. Who knows, may even get lucky and get some Chilcotin steelhead eyes........ I've heard they are the fountain of youth in the Orient ;D
