Call the posse search off. We can stop checking outhouses in gov. campsites now. FA is not lost but found. He's well & alive !
( must be helping our sniper get healthy from his knee strain... Hope Peterson does not have a sweet tooth. He may return 20lbs heavier. )
2 guys accounted for. One more guy missing in action...Hopefully submarine Nova is well.  ( as he stated he's got a bad ticker ...if ya read this Nova we hope your doing ok. When not feeling 100% life is challenging ...how many in the world are on their last legs ...alot. Rolling Stones once sang " Time is on our side" in the 1960's 70's 80's early 90's ...but now in the 2000s they know time is not on their side...they have been up & racing down the mountain of life. Hope they live many more yrs ...)
Go Canucks Go ! Go Canucks Go !

A well fought game. Lots of fast skating. Was 3-2 Canucks but replay showed play was off side so goal taken away & back to 2-2 ...then OT with lots of exciting chances by both teams. In the shoot out thought the Canuck players made it easy for the Oiler goalie.
Oilers finally got the win on a perfect shot that any goalie would of had a hard time stopping. Guy let it go from 10 ft directly in front of the net. The shot was hard fast & top right shelf of the net.
Markstrom knew this shot was tricky to read as the shooter could of targeted all 4 corners of the net or gone 5 hole.  In a shoot out it's a break away so why not get the best shot you can as no one is there to check you. Why go in too close & deke it ?????? Goalie has the advantage every time.
Have the puck 10 ft directly infront of the net on your stick blade & whip a shot to any of the five target areas. If the shot is placed on target the
shooter has the advantage. Kinda like in soccer a penalty shot the ball normally beats the goalie ;D
Canucks did put in a really good effort. They did not back down either when the Oilers got physical.
We get the pt so that's good. All is not lost.
Our old back up goalie gets a win in Ottawa. 4-2
Nielsson or whoever he is.

Preds Jets tonight.  Going to be a tough match.  If the Preds play like they did last game it will be a lot of fun.  Play like poo and it will be a long night.

Jets handed the Preds a 5-1 drubbing. Jets' dads were in the stands.

These two teams do not like each other.
Only one team can be the King of the castle.
Maybe the loss was because Preds picked up some intestinal worms/parasites somewhere. Tape worms pin worms round worms ...there's a youtube vid : Removing intestinal worms from NY weight lifter or body builder ( something like that !!!! Should come up..gross. )
Think the game was in Winnipeg right? Tough place to play. Not a Pred friendly environment. They were like a lion out of it's territory.

It was in Nashville.  Woof.  It was a hard fought game up until the 3rd goal by the Jets.  Jets went up 1-0, we still fought.  Jets went up 2-0, we still fought.  We got one for 2-1 and the place was rocking.  Then, right before the end of the period, the went up 3-1 and we rolled over.  Tough game to watch but we knew based on the up and down nature of how they have been playing that this was very possible.

Oh ok the game was in Nashville. Surprised by the score. Well should not be. The guy between the pipes has the last "say".
Many moons ago the Canucks played in Montreal.  Montreal out shot the Canucks by like 49 to 19. Think the score was 3-0 for the Canucks !!! Kurt McLean played a flawless game. So so many quality shots he stopped too. Labelled shots & zoom his glove or stick or pad stopped or deflected the puck.
( lost $800 on a Sports Action bet ...won $800 if Montreal won...$20 bet...on guess on 4 game outcome.
Something like that. All I needed was for Habs to win. The night before (Fri) the Canucks played & Habs rested. Have not betted on games for many moons.  ;D Too painful.

Obviously you're not a Canuck advisor. Throw in Mitch Marner and we MIGHT have a deal. :)

Then he'll have to give up the pizza and pucks. I drive a hard bargain...
