I think its better to take your reel in and get it filled from a bulk spool.  

You get a cheaper rate per meter/foot and there is no wasted left overs.

I live in the Seattle area.  If you need any advice on good local fishing stores, let me know.  I like Outdoor Emporium among others.

Here's Outdoor Emporium's site.  They just opened up a larger store a couple of months ago just 2 blocks south of Safeco Field.  Real good selection on not just fishing gear, but boating and camping gear as well.
