Leafs 5 or so players eat up 90% of salary cap.

How are the Leafs affording their elite players & have enough $$$ to pay the rest of the players????
Mitch Marner signed for 11 million per or so a season for next 5 yrs.
Other 4 elite players payed millions per season....
Guess the other guys are being paid 1 -2 million max per...yr.
Now try signing our elite Canuck players.
Like what TSN guy said: does a player play for the name in front of his jersey or the name on the back of his jersey OR the name on the cheque ?????
Let me tell you these guys should put team first & play for the name on the front of their jersey. Play for the love of the game. Give them enough $$$ to play for a roof food transport & a bit more to tuck away for retirement. After 20 yrs they should have a million in bank.
Never mind pro sports is business first. Team first  ;D
If a player in interview says I am a team player & I want my team to win above all else. That's that matters. ( miracle if he can keep a straight face & not start laughing ....me I'd play for a carrot & apple as payment !!! Yep...never lied in my entire life. )
Leafs may meet Bruins again in 2019/20 playoffs & what will the reaction if Leafs go down in flames again. Cry cry cry....or injury & thus pay pay pay & nothing for it.

Must be residue effects from last night 's full moon Fri 13th !!!
Let me predict that the Leafs are going to flop & Canucks do very well.

Well the French red wine I've been buying is $14.99 ( not cork buy just screw off the cap )
Taste good to me.
FA there's Coppermoon wine & that's $9 in some places...
To tell ya honestly...my wine drinking or drinking any alcohol consumption is 70% less in the last few months??? Glass or two & that's it every 2-3-4th day..
Ok maybe 3 weeks or so 3-4 glasses...(not a small size glass)
Save $$$ but most of all not so many hangovers !!!!!!!!
