Good luck with cap space  on that one.  :o

Giving the devil his due, Torts was right in his assessment of NHL officiating. The crappy way they tried  to sweep the dirt under the rug disgusts me. I is this pro hockey or pro wrestling.?
Officials must of ate too much turkey.
Would of liked for the sake of medical science ask Torts if it 's ok to check his blood pressure as this crime took place. Was he angry or what or did he see an opportunity to get media time & renew his explosive image.  ;D

Happy New Year to you FA & being happy or at least contented in what ever state we find ourselves & if we have health are what matters. Ask Ric Flair ...he had 20% chance to live ???health scare.
He pulled thru. Now he does not booze it up like a 20 yr old anymore.
Hooooo !
FA true words. Leafs will fold like a tent in the playoffs. Pretenders.
Their stars have those past memories in their sub conscious ...unless their coach can pull a Hal & somehow be a stronger influence. Put the Leafs past failure sub conscious on a scale & put new Leaf coach game plan on the other scale & we will see which one is heavier.

And along those thoughts a very spirited rough game with good scoring chances in the Star vs Predator game.
85,000 in attendance. Is hockey popular or what?
20-25 Pred fans at the game oops...I mean 20-25,000 fans at the game dressed in gold. Gee numbers must be accurate. If ya think ya have $25 in checking account & ya check balance & it's $25,000 instead.  :o
A 60 minute game has lots of twists & turns.
Nashville up 2-0 & nearly got it to 3-0.
But tents folded for Nashville. Dallas wins 4-2.
4 straight unanswered goals.
Unforgivable.

Too much turkey I guess before the game & not enough mashed potatoes & gravy. Carbs.
After the game it was a very long long walk of shame for the turkeys back to their dressing room.
In stadiums it's a long way to dressing room. Ouch.  :-[

Canucks on a winning streak & Nashville on a mini losing streak.
Go Canucks Go
Go home Nashville.
There was a game show called To Tell The Truth.
Two fakes & the one telling the truth.
Nashville has me ???? Are they playoff & Cup material or a house of cards.

After this critic I wish the best for the Canucks ( & Vegas no tell no tell ) Leafs & Preds.

( please no tell I like Canucks & Vegas ...Vegas like Canucks are skilled good skaters good goaltending but Knights can play very physical & rough. Give it & take it. But if in playoffs they get into too many physical series they will be wounded for the kill in the finals unless their opposition also got best down )

Nashville & Leafs play the game on the ice & have the last say.

EDIT IN: TNA must of pulled his hair out after Preds pulled their goalie.
Counted at least 3 non calls against Dallas. Refs ????

Another win tonight, undefeated this year.
Congrats on yet another win!
Maple Leafs are red hot but no team can keep playing like that. Engine will blow up !!!
They are red lining...rpms too high.
Chris advise them to cooool downnnnn.

And the Canucks win 7-5.
We too are undefeated in 2020.
Our snipers are seeing 20/20.
Ericsson 20/10 our 6-7 million dollar checker super pest great passer penalty killer sponges fans / media's / management evil eyes so the other Canuck players feel more free of stress.
Like a body ya may think your heart brain eyes are so important but so is your big toe.
Big toe Ericsson!

FA you will be happy to know I sent a sealed envelope to the Johnny Carson tv Show & it was given to the Great Carnac the Magnificent. He has the ability to know the answer to ? without opening envelope.
The Great & Magnificent Carnac ( rumour has it that he is Johnny Carson )
He grabbed the envelope & without opening it the Great & Magnificent Carnac answered : in 2020 !!!!
He then ripped the end of the envelope & blew into open end & pulled the slip of paper out.
He read : the question is when will the Canucks win the Grey ..I mean the Stanley Cup ????
Yahooooooooooooooooo !
You are right on Fa Yahoooooooooo !
( gotta make lots of posts so TNA will not read my Jan 1 post ...I was kinda tough on his Preds )

Hey guys, hope everybody had a good holidays and a good New Year so far.

Been a struggle being a Preds fan lately.  GM is now talking about whether we are going to buckle down and contend this year or if we need to become a seller around the trade deadline.  Not a good thought pattern.  Not considering a coaching change "at this time" although the uproar from the fans is becoming quite a bit that it may be time for a new coach.  Another article came out today about how our current coach hurts our offensive output compared with other coaches.

We are not out of it but we are way too talented to be playing like this.  They look great for one period but the other two are crap.  I just don't get it.

Glad you guys are doing well.  At least someone is.

Magnificent Carnac may just have the answer to Preds woes.
Each player must eat an "apple per day".
The outside game has big big pressure. 85,000 fans...outdoors ... the screaming cheering Dallas fans energized the Star players to keep playing hard ...& the Preds were out willed & from there it went south.
Home advantage is a big plus in big games & the teams put out a big effort.
The big cheering pushed the Star team to the W.
In other words Preds were in a Big Time Disadvantage.
They will get better results at home.
Dallas vs Nashville are always heated games. They both do not like each other. They shock hands so that's good sportsmanship. No bench clearing brawl.

6-6-6 do I hear 7 -7 anyone ok 7 ....8-8 do I hear 8???
Did not the Flyers go on a long win or undefeated streak (record) yrs ago ...when Pat Quinn was their coach ?
( John Quinn retired wrestler died in 2019 Pat's bro or relative )

The Canucks players are all on the same page. The players have a will & feeling to win.
They are types that hate to lose. Each player energizes his teammate.
Teams that lose have 4-10 players that are weak links on the chain.
No weak links on the present team.
Even big toe Louie Ericsson though not scoring still has been a super pest checker & stealing the puck or disrupting the line he is against.  ;D
