And Benning passed out keys to the vault giving up a lot of future for Tyler Toffoli. Dumping Schaller was ok but a prospect and a couple of high round draft picks was dumb. Ericsson 2.0.

I would say maybe you are on to something with me not being there but I was there Sunday for the second game of the home and home against the Blues.  Amazing game.  What they call playoff atmosphere.  Lost of Blues fans in the seats and they would start "Let's go Blues" chants and then the stadium would drown them out.  Was a constant battle.  First standing ovation during a tv timeout in quite a while too to try and help energize the team and it worked.  Scored the game winner with just under 2 minutes left and then clung on for dear life.  First time the Preds have won 3 in a row since October which is absolutely crazy.  Finally playing like they have their confidence back and playing good complete games.  A couple boneheaded moves or turnovers but the team is willing to bust their butts to get back to cover and help their teammates out.  So many times in the past this year there would be a turnover, odd man rush going the other way, 2 on 1, say, and we would have one guy hurry and cover the extra guy but then another guy would beat out all of the other guys and come in as a trailer and get off a really good shot and often score.  Now, it seems not only do we cover the extra guy but there are two other guys that beat the trailer down the ice and they find that shot blocked or the pass picked off before they can even get that shot.  Just a much better way of playing and is showing results.  Which of course makes us happy.

They said if we went 2-2 on these last 4 games (counting tonight) that we would be right on the edge of buying and selling.  We have gone 3-0 so that should put us into the buying category.

Saw the score on the loss to the Ducks.  Not good.  Not good at all.  Tell your guys to play better.

Hurricanes beat yous up badly. Like what the Ducks did to us.
What is this...yous had back to back with the Blues & now 2 games Chicago Fri & Columbus Sat.
2 games together will tire a team mentally /physically.
Got to mentally prepare / stiff muscles/bruises ....

Our new player Toffoli has really good hockey smarts.
Checked out scoring vids..when he shoots it's a quick shot & labelled. The goalie will have to react & make a good save.
Too many players get a shot away in close but it's easy save as the shot is right at the goalie.

Yeah, back to back games last weekend and again this weekend.  Yes, it does wear a team down.  Think that is likely what happened on Tuesday which means hopefully we will do better  Friday and Saturday but then suck again Tuesday.

Sounds like you got yourselves a good player.  Awesome.  We are in desperate need of a defenseman.  Our guy is still out from the winter classic even though he has been practicing but even with his return, our third line can't seem the clear the puck out of a wet paper bag.  The wet paper bag ends up stealing the puck and throwing it to last night's pizza box wide open for a really good shot that hopefully the goalie can make an amazing stop on.

And my favorite move, you have the puck behind the net skating along the boards, guy coming behind you is quicker, clear out to the blue line or beyond where a guy is waiting with a guy from the other team for the puck to try and chip it out, do we pass it along the boards?  Nah, why would we do that.  These defensemen for some reason decide to eat the puck and try and freeze it against the boards with their skate and stick.  Either no confidence or no ability to actually pass the puck.  Just frustrating.

Chicago playing good hockey so Preds better be ready.
Canucks vs Wild was good game.
Toffoli played with heart.
His shoot out try though was the pits.
Made his move then stumbled /off balence the started to fall all on his own & then took the shot from a bad angle. 
His record is not good on SO.
But the Great One Wayne Gretzky was terrible on break always which is like a SO.
Canucks get a pt though !

Every point matters.  Read that break aways are generally easier than SO.  Not that both aren't missed horribly sometimes.  Chicago has been playing very spotty.  Some games they look amazing and then some games they just don't even show up.  Guess that is just like the Preds so can't say much.

Make Beliefs lost 6-3 to Carolina in a nationally televised game. It's not that the Laughs lost that made the news. It's the way they lost. They lost to a 42 year old emergency back up named David Ayers after the Hurricanes lost their starter and backup. Must be embarrassing. What do they do now ? Fire Sheldon Keefe and bring back Mike Babcock ? Does Babcock want to come back ? Fire the Make Belief's GM Dufus ? Fire the Leaf advisor ?

Two Caolina goalies get injured so the Zambozi driver/maint. man of Scotia Bank Arena goes between the pipes. Leafs first two shots are goals so...Ayers does not have a good start.
So...the Leafs should know they have this game won. Non NHL goalie between the pipes....first 2 shots are goals against David Ayers.....so what do the Leafs do in the 3rd period?
They send only 7 shots towards the Hurricane net. 7 shots.
Plus Leafs lose 6-3.
Toronto fans mocked the Leafs with " Let's go Raptors. "
There is just no way the Leafs should of lost.
If they pressured & forced the play & got rubber on the net they should of got 5/6 goals in the 3rd.
But only 7 shots & no goals in period 3.
Leafs have been embaressed in front of the entire country.

Close to trade deadline. Trade the entire team maybe but GMs have  zero interest in any Leaf players.
