Fishing in Annacis Channel
« on: June 04, 2020, 08:25:08 PM »

Hi folks!
Now that we have our boat moored in Annacis Channel, I'm thinking of hanging out a line and seeing what's out there. What IS out there? Any cutthroat? Anything I should be targetting? I have caught a few pikeminnow in a bay I used to frequent but nothing else.

Used to bar fish by the traffic bridge years ago for coho. There was also fair amount of dollys caught. Haven’t done it for years though. Caught some decent sturgeon there as well.

Looks like it's a bit of a moot point: the whole area is CLOSED to all salmon fishing. I guess I can fish for trout or pikeminnow...

River is high and dirty. Tons of debris coming down. It’d be tough fishin.

I fished a bay a few times on Annacis as well years ago and caught some large suckers and pikeminnows.  Was the only location on the Fraser I have caught suckers.
