Region 2 lakes in September
« on: September 07, 2020, 12:50:51 PM »

Hello,

New to boating and new to lake fishing. Have a 14' aluminum with a 25hp merc and an electric trolling motor.

Can someone recommend lakes to fish in the coming weeks? We've tried kawkawa and while we enjoyed the lake we had no luck fishing.

Appreciate any info. I have read through the forum and have a copy of backroad mapbooks/fishing mapbook so I know the options, just looking for opinions on what would be the most productive in sept.

Thanks.

Just some ideas and I'm sure others will have more.

Chilliwack Lake and fish the creek mouths for bull trout which will be keying in on kokanee and salmon eggs, but watch the weather.

Ross Lake and cast lures for bull trout and rainbow trout.

Cultus Lake for bull trout and smallmouth bass.

Hicks Lake for a variety of species (rainbows, cutthroats and kokanee) but note the motor restriction.
