Jones lake
« on: November 01, 2020, 10:49:12 AM »

Has anyone fished Jones lake in November? I’m hoping to head up there next week but have seen info online that it closes oct 31. No mention of this on the bc hydro site.
Any insight would help.
Cheers!

The Bc Hydro site does reference to closure, under the Campsites tab
“Open  from May 1 to October 31, the recreation opportunities at Jones Lake include camping, picnicking, swimming, boating, and fishing. Hiking, mountain biking and backcountry exploration are also popular in the area.”

Although the implication is that the recreation sites are closed and not the lake itself.

That’s all I got. No first hand knowledge

You can literally launch a topper anywhere on the east side of the lake. There are a few spots to do just that. I wouldn't bother with a trailer tho.

Thanks for the help. I missed that on the hydro site. I guess I was more wondering if it would be gated off as my plan was to launch a car topper without having to hike in if there was a locked gate.
