I have this brand new never been used fly Rod. Bought it 7 years ago and never took up fly fishing. The 4 pieces never saw the light of the day  . I know this belongs to the buy sell section but was just wondering how much I can sell it for. Not into fly fishing so have no idea. Bought it from Berry's and still has their bar code on it. Any feedback would be much appreciated and am willing to sell to anybody for the right price. Thanks

So this rod was discontinued 10 to 12 years ago. I think the current new rod warranty no longer applies. Do you have a receipt or remember what you paid for it? Did Berry's give you a discount since  it was not a current product?

Here's a 9 weight that supposedly sold for $175. Some recent US sales were in the same range taking exchange into consideration.  It may be worth more than that. It is also not one of sage's classic models such as the RPLs, SPLs or XPs.

spend a little time with your friend Mr Google and see if you can find anything.

The Launch series of rods from Sage was their entry level rod series and was discontinued ten plus years ago as already mentioned. I have a Launch 690 that I picked up a while back used for $100. Your being new I would say $150-$200 realistically. A decent rod but not a highly sought after model such as the LL, XP or Zaxis series and such that people search for and pay a lot for still.

My guess is given it is new - the original purchase price ( not the MSLP) less 30% is a reasonable starting point. Much depends how motivated one is to sell it.

The fli had a faster taper and  a graphite III blank while the launch used graphite 2 and a more progressive (slower) taper. For years Sage sold their rpl graphite 3 rod blanks under different labels. It seems to be one of the last iterations of that line.

I misread last night and thought it was a Launch, not a Fli.

I also own a 590 Fli and at one point had a 690 as well until it fell out of a boat 

Same era as the launch, a faster rod, worth around the same
