I'm on the mailing list for the Fraser River Discovery Centre and this came into my inbox.
I was first "introduced" to Dr Taylor in the biodiversity presentation that Rod facilitated with him last spring. Really enjoyed the presentation so I'll be registering for this one too.
Faces of the Fraser – Rivers Run Through Us with Dr. Eric Taylor – January 13th, 7:00PM – 8:30PM
‘Faces of the Fraser’ is a webinar series that connects our communities to the people who live and work on the mighty Fraser River. Dr. Eric Taylor studies the patterns and processes that inform us of the origins and persistence of biodiversity, and how we can apply this knowledge to conservation efforts. On January 13th, join us online, via Zoom, as Dr. Taylor shares insights from his new book ‘Rivers Run Through Us: A Natural and Human History of Great Rivers in North America’, and invites us to consider how the physical nature of rivers has influenced the development of societies and ecosystems.
This presentation will conclude with a Q&A session. We hope you will join us! Registration is by donation and includes a link to the Zoom meeting.
