2023 Lake Stockings
« on: March 07, 2023, 12:54:05 PM »

Hey everyone, can't wait for the lake season to start. Any intel on when stockings will start happening in the LM? Historically Van Isle goes first and so far there's nothing, so I guess once we see stockings in this page https://www.gofishbc.com/Stocked-Fish/Detailed-Report.aspx?region=VANCOUVER%20ISLAND&start=1/1/2022&end=5/17/2024 we can expect them in the LM a week or two after.

I read that they are starting in the lower mainland this week, Rodney also said he will be at a local lake stocking on Thursday.

Both VI and Lower Mainland stockings begin this week. VI was going to start last week but got postponed because it was cold. Both hatcheries always  try to get some of the lakes stocked right before school spring break.

Rod's showing off the new dock and new fountain on Mill Lake.  Looks great. Great addition to Mill lake and the local city fishing community.  That eagle that lives 50-100  metres west  of the dock will be pretty excited with the stocking as well.....

That dock is like the Rolls Royce of floating docks, I'm going to pitch the idea of putting one at Elbow. 😆

He should be delighted. :) That's Brandon. He has been an avid angler his whole life, and started watching the videos when he was very young. Few years ago he joined the learn to fish team as an instructor, then he became a fish culturist last year after completing his schooling. A great career in the future for him.
