Spot prawns?

I never tried spot prawns and saw many articles on it and how people really love them, I am missing out on something so good....wondering if its still available for sale anywhere? All the online places i looked are sold out ( i have setup notification with them)

Commercial season opened May 15 and it only last 30 to 40 days or so. We got some this weekend at our local fish shop but they said that would  be it till next year. You can likely find some frozen. I think they are available for recreational harvest for much of the year.

Thanks Ralph, any stores I can check for the have frozen one?

Turn your stove on medium. Put a generous amount of butter in a frying pan Chop up some garlic scapes and allow to release its fragrant odors and flavors into the butter. You can add a dash of white wine or Sherry. Just a dash, drink the rest. The most important part is to pull the prawns out of the pan as they change colour.

You have to invite me for dinner now..

Already salivating while reading it lol, I got the frozen tails, my parents will be visiting next month and they have not tasted it either, so will definitely try Butter garlic recipe when they are here....
will invite you over for next spot prawn season :P

You haven't lived until you've tasted my prawns in Newberg sauce. If I find it, I'll post the recipe.
