NEW CHINOOK DERBY ON THE VEDDER
« on: July 24, 2024, 07:12:06 PM »

I was wondering what everybody thinks about this new Derby. Of course it is great to get more money to support salmon. I was just thinking that maybe overcrowding to weigh in may be an issue as MANY more chinook are caught than steelhead on any given day, of course there is a legal yearly limit of 10 over 62 cm but I'm guessing people will still be weighing in jacks for mystery weight prizes. Anyways the basis is on heaviest fish so feel free to comment the biggest you've personally caught or seen caught! Pictures are even better

UPDATE: I just realized this is a one day derby not a season long derby as I assumed from the first time i read it.
