help me convince my professor to reschedule my exam  ;D
Well your education is more important than fishing, do well in your exam, the fish will wait for you.

Been out the last few weekends, and it’s been walking thru the beginner process with my friend. We’ve
avoided the busy spots to give her room and others to fish. She’s had a a few fish on but nothing to hand until Monday.

after a morning of breaking off springs, she got her first coho in the downpour.

Love this!

Fishing was a bit slow today which was to be expected after some good coho salmon fishing this week. Lots of people out trying to beat the coming monsoons on the way later today.

I only landed 3 coho jacks all released, lost 1 coho salmon and that was all for a 2 hour fishing morning. I just used roe bags today.

Took a walk down to the river in the heavy rain to check the conditions for you.

While filming the water condition this fish was taken in a gravel extraction pond using a jig I believe. The pond was clearer than the main river so was fishable.

I thought so too at the time. I looked at it again and maybe it was twisted up in the line that coho salmon can sometime do?

Jet boat ripping around above the crossing today. Seemingly a mile wide in some places, it will take awhile for the river to recover from this rain, as it continues to pound down here in Chilliwack after a welcome break for part of the day.

Were they looking for Rufus. God damn shame chilliwack Crown Counsel refused to file charges. I wrote them a letter saying why it was important to lay down the law on those bullies who assualted him. Might as well have been talking algebra to a donkey.

great line! However I am not surprised the 'assailants' were not charged. The 'tests' for charges are quite high.

Those meatheads should have been charged for assaulting Rufus. Ridiculous that they got away with what they did.  >:(

Agreed. Unfortunately our current liberal/NDP government does whatever they want, makes up their own rules, and enables everyone from addicts to murderers to terrorists to walk and thrive in our streets without consequence. And now today surprise surprise it looks like they’re doing everything possible to cheat. What a joke. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

Wondering if this Atmospheric River washed away the salmon eggs, so we'll have less fish coming back in a few years.  At least the pinks are not affected.
