Well... Not that interesting... Don't read on...
Yesterday while spinning, I had another fish rolling right beside me again. This time it wasn't a tiny jack, but a gigantic spring.
At first glance I thought it was a seal based on the size of the splash, but I did get a peek of its tail... Wow!
No fish yesterday... Didn't get a single touch.
This morning I headed out to try the outgoing tide. The outgoing tide this morning, or this entire week, is especially strong as tidal difference is huge. Fished with a spin n glow and roe sac as the current was strong enough to get some spinning going. Not much happening. I had one good tug but was too late as there were two fish rolling in front of me at the same time.
This afternoon Fishersak and I headed out again. Before Fishersak arrived, I had spotted several fish already. I saw... pinks! Pinks were finning on the surface. One of the fish that finned, didn't look like a pink, but it was a nice size coho.
I did manage to hook a fish tonight, but came off pretty fast. Nothing big, it was probably a coho jack, cutthroat or small dolly. We will never know.
I had one tap that was definitely a pink, but it didn't commit to the spoon.
Fishersak managed to land one fish today, a lonely pikeminnow.
Tomorrow... i can feel it now...
