Just got back from the Vedder. Hooked into 4 and kept 2 nice cohos.
The river is up from a couple of days ago and the visibility is about 1.5 to 2 feet when I left at noon. Used roe and blades, fished real close to shore in the slower current. It's raining lightly now, but it was nice this morning, no wind, and only saw one other fisherman. Water was cloudy this morning but was cleaning up when I left. Water clarity should be OK for tomorrow if it doesn't rain heavily tonight. Good luck to all.

I never go above Slesse Creek so I must fish in the “Lower” section.

I was below the Crossing, but above the Lower Wilson. How’s that for specifics? I got the fish in the “trees” so to speak. Stood on a rock that’s spray painted “Mine”. Last week I saw few small runs that were several feet deep that didn’t look too promising but I mentally noted that it would be prime fish holding water if the water rose a foot or two. Turned out it was a right guess.

Checked it out today, above the crossing. No fish, not a sniff. Chucking feathers and drifting wool in close. Check out   Joedavis report, it is bang right on, will agree with him. .... way to go on your catch  Joedavis...... did see  1 hatch killed and a jack coho bonked just below me , Talked to Dunc. , report was very slow upriver .  Nice catch  Doc.  S.G.

Thanksfolks,

I'm headin' out first thing as long as it doesn't pour tonight. I'll set out that bucket in the back yard and see how much H2O is in it when I get up.
