I always laugh usually early in the coho season around now when we have low water condition people are asking for rain.

I never liked that as the fish move through the system way too fast. I would rather have fairly lower water conditions

This year with all the rain we have been getting they did not have the chance to ask for it as we are getting lots of it.

By the way it is pouring in Chilliwack now.

We may have a short and poor coho season on the Vedder this Year if the rain continues to fall. :-\

Say... what??? I always find the opposite. When there is high water early on the fish spread throughout the river, holding in pools and are more aggressive. Last year with out the rain the fish held out in the fraser till the record rainstorm happened and then raced to the top-great for the flossers.

high water is great. more room on the river. better chance of finding new pools and backwash.
