That steelhead is from the Kispiox River, located in northern BC - I'm going back up there in October, so maybe i'll have some new and better pictures to share...
As far as coho is concerned - I have two techniques, the first is to fish a floating line and a 13 - 15 foot flourocarbon leader and a weighted fly.
The other is my stillwater taper:
http://www.flyfishusa.com/lines/sa-mastery-stillwater2.htmlNow I have used only one other clear sink line, the SA Striper taper - I prefered this line, as it had less memory. We have some Cortland clear sink lines coming, so I'll give a review of that when I have a chance to try them out.
The new one that I want to try is a new line from SA which is labelled a coho line - I believe Giovanni might know something more about the origins of this line, I'll have to ask him tonight when I get home.
Cheers,
Nicole
