Sounds like a very reasonable condition for a river. ;D ;D ;D

Raining very hard in Chilliwack today. I will take a look at the lower river and check the conditions a little later and report back.

Checked the Vedder at the canal area at 5:30 pm and was still fishable even though it is rising. It is still raining hard.

Will have to leave it up to the indiviual anglers how conditions will be in the morning.

Maybe we will get a report on how things looked in the upper river this afternoon..

Looks like you may get your wish as rain continues to fall.

Ya so then all the fish will zip straight through the system to the hatchery for the Natives to have. ??? It took a long time for the water to settle down after the last hard rains and the fish still werent holding normally. :-\

Water was up about 4-5"  with less than a foot of visibility through the water when I left around 6:00 pm.  Fulcrum, you don't need to pray for more rain, Springs, Chums and Cohoes are on the move in huge numbers  from 3:30 pm. ;D
Go get them boy!

Heard the river is high and muddy and risen a foot or two. If the rain keeps up tonight it should be blown out tomorrow.

The Vedder is muddy and rising rapidly.Got there at 5pm and left at 7pm. Pouring rain. Had to keep checking behind me to make sure I wasn't caught on the island. The river came up over a foot. The holes were blown. Fish were swimming between my legs. Couldn't hook them.
No fish, but man, this is fishing! I love wild weather like this. Nobody around. Just got to be careful.
Tomorrow, and for sure by Sunday, the fishing is going to be fantastic.
Enjoy all. But be careful. It can be wild out there.
