Ambleside june 4

 My girlfriend and I went fishing for dogfish around 9pm, fished till midnight, caught one dogfish each, there was a total of 4 caught all night.  We also caught a number of large bullheads. It was a pretty nice night on the peir.

3oz weight, herring for bait, wire leader is a must.

what do you do with the dog fish , are you eating them or what? Lately a lot of people are going for dog fish .

What time did you go? When fishing Ambleside is casting towards the straight side or the river side better?

we ususally go from 9 till 2 in the morning. Right now it is just getting going but it should pick up within 3 weeks. We fish from the far right side.

i went fishing up ambleside for the doggys and i pulled up a 8 pound rockfish man that thing fought i find its good when you crab at the same time multy taskins a good thing

O ya is that right.... i dont think it was 8 pounds because that is one nig rockfish.

ROCK FISH you can get rock fish there? herring as bait or shrimp? WOW now I just can't wait till the rain stops.

Yes you can get rockfish but they are quite hard to get. Shrimp or squid or herring works good.
