Trolling Howe Sound
« on: June 28, 2005, 10:07:05 PM »

Planning to rent a boat and gear from Sewell this long weekend, to do some salmon fishing in the Howe sound.
This is new for me.  Last time went out was with a friend who took care of everything.

Can you tell me how fast and how to read fish finder for salmon fishing?

Thank you
Any help is appreciated.

Rental boats don't come with sounders-how will you find fish?
Or bottom while dragging that 10# lead weight around?
How deep will you fish ?
Sewell's rental gear is a joke/downriggers are old~broken-save your money and take a Charter learn from a pro.
